We think San Diego is awesome. We want to make it even better by bringing local companies together with the local community, to support a local cause. Here's how it works:

  1. We invite everyone to a party featuring the best local food, drink and live music.
  2. At the party, we showcase 7 local entrepreneurs sharing how their faith—whatever it may be—impacts their work in a uniquely personal "20/20 Presentation." (see below!)
  3. We channel this collective awesomeness to raise money and support for a local non-profit doing outstanding work in our city.

RESULT: A diverse community connecting and collaborating for the common good.

THE "20/20 presentation"

20/20 Presentations are a unique and personal way for entrepreneurs and the community to connect for the benefit of the city.

Two rules guarantee every presentation is fast-paced and engaging—and often unexpected, funny, moving, or even profound:

  1. Tell us how your personal faith/values/principles—whatever it may be—shapes the work you do.
    • Share the WHY behind your work!
       
  2. Use 20 images, with only 20 seconds per image.
    • The images advance every 20 seconds no matter what, giving you just 6 minutes 40 seconds to tell your story.

Other than that, speakers can do whatever they want!

Along with the entrepreneurs, the leader of the non-profit we are benefiting will share their own 20/20 presentation—giving us a glimpse into the heart behind their work, too!

SD20TWENTY was created by Harbor City Church—a church IN the city FOR the city. Our goal is to celebrate the beautiful parts of San Diego, while serving the broken parts.

SD20TWENTY is not a religious event—it is a space for multiple perspectives to come together to interact, connect, and collaborate to do good for the city. All are welcome.

Food & drink are provided through the generous donation of local businesses, and the rest of SD20TWENTY's operating expenses are funded by Harbor City Church.

100% of event proceeds go directly to the benefiting non-profit.
